Dosage & Administration
Always follow the specific instructions on the packaging or provided by your healthcare provider.
  • Adults & Children over 12: Typically 1 adult suppository (100 mg) inserted rectally up to three times a day, as needed.
  • Children (6 to 12 years): Typically 1 paediatric suppository (50 mg) inserted rectally up to three times a day, as needed.
  • Young Children: Valoid suppositories are not recommended for children under 6 years of age unless specifically directed by a doctor.
Important Safety Information
  • How to use: The suppository must be completely removed from its plastic shell before insertion. A small amount of water-based lubricating jelly can be used for easier insertion.
  • Drowsiness: Cyclizine may cause drowsiness and impair motor skills. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
  • Alcohol: Be cautious with alcohol, as Valoid can increase the intoxicating effects of alcohol.
  • Medical Conditions: It should generally be avoided by those with asthma, epilepsy, or focal lesions of the cerebral cortex, as it can worsen these conditions.
When to Seek Immediate Medical Help
If vomiting is severe or if you or your child show signs of dehydration (e.g., dry lips, lethargy, decreased urination), seek medical advice immediately to prevent complications.
